Tour Service Participation Agreement

The terms and conditions contained in this Tour Service Participation Agreement (“Agreement”) govern the relationship between Taj Routes (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and the user (“you” or “your”) who uses our services to book a tour guide, tour, or any other tour and travel-related service.

By making a booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by this Agreement, including our cancellation policy and applicable limitations of liability.

The website and the products and services made available through it are offered subject to your acceptance, without modification, of all the terms, conditions, and notices set forth in this Agreement.

By accessing or using the website in any manner, you agree to be bound by this Agreement and represent that you have read and understood its terms. Please read this Agreement carefully, as it contains important information concerning your legal rights, limitations of liability, applicable law, and dispute resolution.

If you do not accept all of these terms and conditions, please do not use the website or book any product or service.

In all booking arrangements, the person making the booking shall be deemed to have accepted this Agreement on behalf of all persons named in the booking.

General

Taj Routes connects travelers with professional tour guides and other service providers offering tours and travel-related services.

Taj Routes provides these services through its website, tajmahaltouristguide.com (“Site”). The site provides information, communication, booking assistance, and payment-processing facilities that enable travelers to arrange tours and travel-related services.

Taj Routes may work with independent tour guides, drivers, hotels, transport companies, airlines, railways, and other third-party service providers in connection with your booking.

Mode of Payment

Taj Routes offers flexible payment methods. Depending on the service and booking arrangements, payments may be made by:

Bank transfer or wire transfer;
Visa, Mastercard, or American Express credit or debit card;
Cash, where specifically agreed in advance.
Other payment methods made available by Taj Routes.

For payments made by credit or debit card, applicable bank or payment-processing charges may be added to the total booking amount.

Payment instructions and any applicable charges will be communicated to you before payment is processed.

Making Final Payments

Final payments are generally due 21 days prior to the trip, unless otherwise specified in your booking confirmation.

The deposit, final-payment requirements, and cancellation charges applicable to your booking will be communicated at the time of booking.

Reservations may be placed on hold, released, or cancelled by Taj Routes if the required payment is not received by the applicable payment deadline. Where applicable, cancellation charges may apply.

Unless otherwise stated, prices are quoted in Euro (€), per person, and are based on double occupancy (twin sharing) when accommodation is included.

Prices do not include charges for laundry services, telephone and internet usage, alcoholic beverages, mineral water or other beverages, travel insurance, international flight tickets, India visa fees, tips and gratuities, monument entrance tickets, photography or video-camera fees at monuments, miscellaneous personal expenses, souvenirs, or any other expenses not specifically included in the booking confirmation.

Additional fees may be imposed by airlines, hotels, railways, transport companies, or other service providers. Such charges shall be the responsibility of the passenger unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Information Provided by You

You are responsible for providing accurate, timely, and complete information in connection with your registration, booking, and use of the Site.

Taj Routes shall not be responsible for claims, additional costs, delays, or other consequences resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or untimely information provided by you.

Taj Routes will process your personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

Taj Routes will take reasonable measures to protect personal information. However, where information is processed or transmitted through third-party service providers, Taj Routes cannot guarantee the security of information beyond its reasonable control.

Where a third-party payment provider processes your credit or debit card information, Taj Routes does not normally have access to your complete card details. Payment information is handled in accordance with the terms and privacy policy of the applicable payment provider.

Modification of the Terms of this Agreement

Taj Routes reserves the right to modify or update this Agreement from time to time.

Where material changes are made, Taj Routes may provide notice by posting the revised terms on tajmahaltouristguide.com or through other appropriate communication channels.

Your continued use of the Site after the revised terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.

Term of Agreement

This Agreement becomes effective immediately upon your use of the Site or upon making a booking with Taj Routes and shall remain effective unless terminated in accordance with its terms.

Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing written or email notice where applicable.

Taj Routes may suspend or terminate your access to its services immediately if you breach this Agreement, violate an applicable policy, or engage in unlawful or fraudulent activity.

Upon termination or expiration, provisions concerning intellectual property rights, privacy, disclaimers, limitations of liability, legal claims, payment obligations, and any other provisions intended by their nature to survive termination shall remain in effect.

Intellectual Property Rights

All text, graphics, editorial content, data, formatting, graphs, designs, HTML, layout, photographs, music, sounds, images, software, videos, designs, typefaces, logos, trademarks, and other content (collectively, “Proprietary Material”) appearing on tajmahaltouristguide.com are owned by Taj Routes or are used with the permission of their respective owners.

This proprietary material is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, download, modify, use, redesign, reconfigure, distribute, publish, or retransmit any proprietary material from the site without prior written permission from Taj Routes or the applicable rights holder.

Liabilities & Limitation Policy

After the tour or service cost has been finalized, if there is any increase in government-imposed charges, guide charges, fuel costs, entrance fees, taxes, or other mandatory charges, the additional cost may be payable by you where applicable.

Taj Routes may act as an agent or intermediary for airlines, railways, transport companies, contractors, hotels, guides, and other service providers. Tickets, vouchers, contracts, receipts, and other documents may be issued subject to the terms and conditions of the respective service providers.

The itineraries provided to guests are generally sample or proposed itineraries intended to provide an outline of the services and schedules offered.

However, factors such as weather, the physical ability of guests, road conditions, traffic, local restrictions, monument closures, operational requirements, and safety considerations may require changes before or during the tour.

Taj Routes reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the itinerary when necessary, taking into consideration the safety, comfort, and well-being of guests.

Our service charges may be based on applicable tourism regulations, supplier rates, and prevailing market conditions. Airlines and hotels may modify their rates, availability, or conditions without prior notice. Where such changes affect a confirmed booking, Taj Routes may apply the applicable revised supplier charges.

All hotel bookings are subject to the hotel's normal check-in and check-out times unless otherwise stated in the itinerary or booking confirmation.

Taj Routes shall not be responsible for delays, alterations to itineraries, cancellations, or expenses incurred directly or indirectly as a result of circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural hazards, flight or train cancellations, accidents, equipment or vehicle breakdowns, severe weather, sickness, landslides, political closures, strikes, civil disturbances, government restrictions, or other force majeure events.

Taj Routes shall not be responsible for loss, injury, or damage to persons or property arising directly or indirectly from accommodation, transportation, or other services supplied by independent third parties, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Taj Routes does not provide personal travel insurance unless expressly stated in writing. Guests are strongly advised to obtain appropriate travel insurance covering medical expenses, accidents, trip cancellation, baggage loss or theft, and other travel-related risks.

Guests are responsible for taking reasonable care of their passports, money, baggage, electronic devices, valuables, and other personal belongings. Any loss or theft of personal property shall be the responsibility of the guest, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Protect Your Investment

Taj Routes aims to provide guests with clear booking information, professional assistance, and reliable tourism services.

The protection and handling of your booking are subject to the services purchased, the applicable cancellation and refund conditions, third-party supplier terms, and this Agreement.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation terms vary depending on the type of service booked, the date of cancellation, and the cancellation conditions of the relevant service providers.

Where a customer cancels a booking, any applicable cancellation charges, non-refundable amounts, payment-processing charges, and supplier fees may be deducted from the amount paid.

The remaining eligible amount, if any, will be refunded to the customer using the applicable refund method.

Where a service is cancelled by Taj Routes or a third-party supplier, Taj Routes will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative service where possible. If an alternative cannot be provided, any refund will be determined according to the applicable booking and supplier terms.

The specific cancellation and refund conditions communicated in your booking confirmation shall apply to your booking.

Arrival and Departure Policy

Check-in: 12:00 hours

Early arrival is subject to hotel availability. For guaranteed early check-in, the reservation may need to be made starting from the previous night.

Check-out: 12:00 hours

Late check-out may be available upon request and is subject to availability and any additional charges imposed by the hotel.
